Welcome to
THE OKLAHOMA MAYFLOWER SOCIETY
We are a nonprofit society of descendants of the Mayflower passengers who sailed from England to America in 1620 and established Plymouth Colony.
Since 1947, our Oklahoma members have formed lifelong bonds while honoring OUR MISSION to perpetuate the memory of our Pilgrim ancestors through education and genealogical research. More>
If you are a Mayflower descendant living in Oklahoma or with ties to our state, we invite you to join us.
INTRODUCING
THE PASSENGER INHERITANCE PROGRAM (PIP)
PIP is an opportunity for members to “inherit” ancestors from siblings, parents, grandparents, children, or grandchildren without completing an application. And – here’s the best part – each PIP is a flat fee, regardless of how many ancestors are available to inherit.
For details and application, go to the General Society website > on main menu, select Members Only > log in or register for website membership > on Members Only dropdown menu, select Passenger Inheritance Program.
READ A PILGRIM'S JOURNAL
Of Plymouth Plantation is a journal written by Pilgrim William Bradford chronicling the Mayflower pilgrims' history from 1608 to 1647. In this new edition, Bradford's spelling and punctuation are modernized, and archaic words are defined within the text. Leslie Reid offers the transcribed manuscript as a free PDF to encourage others to read this primary historical account.
